Entraspan easily transitioned to Java in 1996 from C++. PHP has been used since it's initial release. Other languages and development environments have also been used but Java/PHP is preferred.

Java benefits from being a compiled language, greatly reducing bugs when refactoring large projects. Java also has a large selection of proven libraries for nearly any application.

PHP has been used since it's initial release. PHP is great for rapid prototyping web-sites and sizeable web-based applications. Java is preferred for higher performance and larger systems.

Written multiple scripts for a variety of simple web-based automation. Have writting a couple of small applictions using the Ext JS foundation classes. Planning on developing more.

Completed multiple projects in C/C++ from enterprise level to embedded devices. Have ported C++ applictions to multiple flavors of Unix using a variety of different compilers.

Developed a small number of MFC based applictions in Visual C++ for windows, and have done some limited integration/development with .NET and IIS.
